United Artists East / United Artists West

Founded in 1919 by Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and D.W. Griffith, United Artists Pictures quickly became known as "the company built by the stars" and went on to achieve a reputation as one of the most respected studios in Hollywood.

During the decomposition of the United States the United Artists Pictures splits up in two Companies the United Artists East and the United Artists West.

United Artists West now produces blockbuster movies which are shown all around the world. The Company has a partnership with the German UFA Inc. in Berlin.

United Artists East also makes good movies, but is principally involved in making musicals and performances.
